terms and Conditions of Avenue 22 Bridal Special Orders
Ship Dates: All quoted order-arrival dates (“Ship Dates”) from manufacturers are approximate. Special order on most wedding gowns or evening wear takes between 3-6 months, and an estimate Ship Date can only be provided at the time when the garment is ordered. For a more accurate Ship Date the customer may contact Avenue 22 about two weeks after the ordered is placed. The approximate Ship Date is the date Avenue 22 Bridal expects the customer’s gown to ship to the boutique. Your order may be subjected to a rush order charge depending on the manufacturers ship dates.
Non-delivery: Avenue 22 Bridal is not liable for any delay or non-delivery of any item resulting from conditions / circumstances beyond their control, and will not be liable for any damages alleged to be suffered by the customers as a result of such delay or non-delivery. Avenue 22 Bridal undertakes to notify the customer immediately soon as the potential delay or non-delivery of the item is known to it.
Alterations: Customer acknowledges that alterations are usually required for most gowns, including those that have been ordered custom length and/or custom body measurements, and any such alternations will be at an extra cost and not included in the listed price of the gown.
Pick up: Customer agrees to set up appointment with Avenue 22 Bridal for inspection of the gown within 10 days of being notified of its arrival at Avenue 22 Bridal. Avenue 22 Bridal cannot be held liable for manufacturer errors on gowns not inspected within the said 10-day period. Customer also understands that the balance of the payment will be due and payable upon the arrival of the gown. If the customer does not pick up the gown at Avenue 22 Bridal within one month of being notified, a surcharge of $50 will be applied per month. The customer acknowledges that any special orders/merchandise not picked up after the “Event Date”, as stated on invoice, will become property of Avenue 22 Bridal.
Size/Colour: The customer acknowledges that the measurements on the invoice are correct. The size is then chosen when compared and referenced to the designer’s size chart. The customer hereby acknowledges that she has reviewed the appropriate size chart for the gown being ordered and has authorized Avenue 22 Bridal to order the gown in listed size and colour on invoice. The customer further acknowledges that unless she has paid for custom-body measurements then the gown should not be considered as a custom-made gown.
Body Changes: Avenue 22 Bridal is not responsible for the customer’s gain or loss in weight, pregnancy or plastic surgery that happens between the order and Ship Date. Please be aware our gowns are not considered maternity; pregnancy can cause weight gain from 15-60lbs. We are not responsible for misfit when there are changes to the body. This may lead to the requirement for additional alterations or ordering a new dress.
Phone Orders/Order Changes: Customer acknowledges that phoned in measurements should be taken professionally, as Avenue 22 Bridal is not responsible for incorrect measurements when choosing garment size. It is also understood that any subsequent changes the customer would like to make to his or her order, if allowed by the manufacturer, can only be made within one business day from the order placement date.
Refunds: It is understood by the customer that there is no refund, exchange or cancellation once the customer has chosen the style and paid a deposit for the order.
All Agreements in Writing: Any agreements made between the customer and consultant must be in writing and stated on the invoice. Verbal agreements are not valid and will not be honoured.
